Narchinthanai Vattam (NCV) and Sree Bala Yoga Studio (SBYS) jointly organized three Mega Yoga Events — National Level Yoga Competitions, Indian Book of Records Attempt: Surya Namaskar Relay, and Award Function — on August 10, 2025 at Sri Rajalakshmi Mahal, Arcot Road, Porur, Chennai.

The first event, the National Level Yoga Competitions, was conducted for all age categories (both male and female). A total of 600 participants from various states competed, with winners receiving trophies and certificates. All participants were honored with a trophy and a certificate of participation. The Champion of Champions (male and female) received a bicycle and a trophy.

The second event, Indian Book of Records Attempt – Surya Namaskar Relay, was a great success as 400 participants in 33 batches completed 12 rounds of Surya Namaskar each (Total – 4800 rounds) in 240 minutes, thereby setting a new record in the Indian Book of Records.

The final event, the Award Function, celebrated and honored professional yoga teachers for their outstanding contributions to the field. The entire program was a grand success, leaving participants highly satisfied and delighted. The event received widespread appreciation for its excellent organization and memorable experience. Everyone appreciated the organization for conducting a successful event.

The Three Great Festivals

Natsinthanai Vataka and Sri Bala Yoga jointly organized the grand festival at Sri Rajalakshmi Mahal, Arcot Road, Porur, Chennai on 10.08.25. In which 600 people participated in yoga competitions and 400 people participated in continuous Surya Namaskar.

The event began at 9:40 am and 400 people performed 4,800 consecutive Surya Namaskars over a period of 4 hours. Similarly, the yoga competitions began at 8 am and continued until 5 pm.

The winners of the competition were given prizes, shields and certificates. The main event was held in 36 categories. There were first prize, second prize, third prize and fourth prize for all categories according to age.

The fourth prize, fourth prize, and fifth prize were awarded. After completing the series of Surya Namaskar, they were given certificates and medals.

At the end of the program, certificates and medals were awarded to those who achieved success in yoga. About 800 people participated in the program. Everyone said that it was a good event.
