Vasan Eye Care Launches “Driver Drishti” – A Road Safety & Vision Wellness Initiative for Commercial Drivers at Vasan Eye Care Hospital, Ambattur

Vasan Eye Care today announced the official launch of “Driver Drishti”, a comprehensive road safety and vision screening initiative aimed at improving visual health among commercial drivers—a segment most vulnerable to road-related risks due to undiagnosed vision problems.

During the event, Dr. Kaushik highlighted the crucial need for stronger collaborations between Commercial Drivers to reduce avoidable accidents caused by poor vision. He also expressed Vasan Eye Care’s commitment to public safety and community outreach.
About the Driver Drishti Initiative
The program focuses on:

Free eye screening for commercial drivers
Free 1000 cataract surgeries (all inclusive) PAN India for eligible commercial drivers under the initiative till 11 Feb 2026

Awareness on road safety and importance of timely eye check-ups

The launch event concluded with a walk-through of the screening arrangements and interactions with commercial drivers who had undergone Free Cataract Surgery through this initiative and
other participating drivers.
