State Level Inter School Basketball (Boys) Tournament

SRM Valliammai Engineering College, Kattankulathur conducted SRM Chairman’s Birthday Trophy 2024 State Level Inter School Basketball (Boys) Tournament on 13th & 14th July 2024 at Valliammai Sports Complex.
Totally 250 students (22 boys teams) participated from all over Tamil Nadu. The match was conducted by knockout system.

Second Semifinals,
Suburban HSS, Coimbatore beat St.Mary’s HSS, Salem (Score:71-61)
The Final match,
Kamala Subramaniam HSS, Tanjore, beat Suburban HSS, Coimbatore, (Score: 78-55)

Runners up are Suburban Hr. Sec. School, Coimbatore,
Two Third prize won by St.Mary’s Hr.Sec.School, Salem, and MSP Solai Nadar Memorial HSS, Dindigul,

Best Forward Player – Mr. P.Harish, Suburban HSS, Coimbatore.
During the valedictory function, Prof. R. Mohanakrishnan, Director of Sports, SRM IST and Dr.M.Murugan, Principal, SRM VEC, presented the trophies, cash prizes, medals and certificates to the top four teams.
