Chennai, 25 July 2026: Acclaimed uro-oncologist, robotic surgeon, and author Dr. V. Srinivas engaged readers at a special book reading session for his latest novel, A Tale of Two Friends, held at Higginbothams, Anna Salai, Chennai.

The event brought together literature enthusiasts, medical professionals, and members of the city’s reading community for an engaging afternoon of storytelling and conversation. During the session, Dr. Srinivas read selected excerpts from the book and shared insights into the inspiration behind the story, his writing journey, and his transition from a distinguished medical career to fiction writing.

Speaking at the event, Dr. V. Srinivas said:
“The underlying message in this story is that Friends made at a young age when you are a NOBODY should remain friends for life even when you become a SOMEBODY. In the real world, this is all the more pertinent  in the current political scenario both in India and USA,  where divergent views can severely test this premise.”
