CAN-STOP and Rotary District 3234 to Host 13th Edition of ABC Exhibition on Cancer Awareness

Chennai, July 2024: CAN-STOP (Cancer Support Therapy to Overcome Pain), a community-based voluntary organization, is organizing the 13th edition of the ABC “All a’Bout Cancer” Exhibition in collaboration with Rotary District 3234. The event aims to create mass awareness among students and the public about cancer.

The exhibition will take place on July 27th, 2024, at Madras Christian College Higher Secondary School (MCC), Chetpet, from 8:00 am to 3:00 pm. 

The event will feature an inter-school competition with informative stalls on cancer-related topics, various competitions like painting, skits, quizzes, and oratorical events in Tamil and English, and participation from 1500 students across 100 schools in Chennai.

The chief guest for the event will be Dr. J RadhaKrishnan, IAS – Additional Chief Secretary to Government, Cooperation, Food & Consumer Protection Department. Other guests of honor include Thiru R Sudhan IAS (retd) Member Secretary, Tamil Nadu Model Schools, Sangeetha Choodamani, Gaana Padmam Smt. Nithyashree Mahadevan, Ms. Sanchitha Shetty (Actress), and Rotary District 3234 officials.
