Chennai, Aug. 2024 :From August 23 to 28, India will participate in Moscow International Film Week. The event will transform Russias capital into a vast cinematic hub, featuring 18 Indian films and a host of representatives from the Indian film industry. Organised by the Moscow Department of Culture and the Agency of Creative Industries, MIFW aims to expand creative and professional contacts creative and professional contacts, as well as cooperation in the field of cinema.
With participation from over 40 countries, including distinguished delegations from India, China, Turkey, Iran, Egypt, Thailand, and CIS countries, the festival promises to be a major event for the international community.

This infrastructure, together with 13 cinemas of Moskino Cinemas, all part of the Moscow Film Industry Cluster «Moskino», supports filmmakers with grants, incentives, and comprehensive services, such as Moskino Digital Platform and the Moskino Film Commission, making Moscow a prime location for full-cycle film production.
Thanks to digital services and film clusters, Moscow can claim the title of one of the best cities for the production of media content of any format. Already, the capitals film infrastructure is comparable in size to Indian and American film industry clusters, which attracts foreign partners.

Experts from India highly appreciated the capabilities and provision of the Moscow locations with the most modern equipment. The guests were especially impressed by the scenery of the Moskino Production & Experience park: a city street, recognizable Moscow locations from different historical eras, the Kremlins Cathedral Square and others. The visit resulted in an agreement on the film production of several more films, including the joint Russian-Indian film project «Pearls», which will be filmed in Moscow this year.
