Chennai, April 10th, 2022: To commemorate World Health Day, Rela Hospital Organised a walkathon on the theme of ‘Planet Doctors’. The walkathon was flagged off by Dr M Ravi, DGP / Commissioner of Police, Tambaram from Chitlapakkam Lake starting point and concluded at Rela Hospital, Chrompet. More than 700 participants belonging to different age groups joined the entire 3.8 KM walk to create raise awareness about the ongoing health issues that concern people and to spread awareness about the overall health and wellbeing of people in Chennai.
Speaking on the occasion Dr Gowthaman Krishnamoorthy, Director, Rela Hospital Said, “Walkathon aimed to create awareness on the urgent actions needed to keep humans and the planet healthy. Coinciding with the Global theme for this year’s “Our Planet, Our Health” we Organised the walkathon on the theme ‘Planet doctors ‘. I would like to thank everyone including the doctors and the public who has joined us this morning by being part of the walkathon to make Chennai healthier and better”
