Mayan Vista India honours extraordinary achievers from medical fraternity (Doctors, Nurses) and sanitary workers who served during the COVID pandemic in the 9th edition of MAYAN AWARDS. This year’s awards were presented to 50 deserving people, including five doctors who worked intensely during the covid 19 pandemic.
The MAYAN AWARDS commenced in the year 2013, conducted an International Edition at Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia in 2018.
The Award function was presided over by Dr J Radhakrishnan IAS, Principal Secretary to Government, Health and Family Welfare Department, Govt of Tamil Nadu and Professor Renganathan, Honourable Consul General of Myanmar.

Awards were presented to 50 awardees in the medical entrepreneurship and social service stream.
Nominees from Apollo Proton Hospital, Apollo Speciality Hospital, MGM Healthcare, Greater Chennai Corporation, Kauvery Hospital, Westminster Hospital, SIMS Hospital, Fortis Malar Hospital, Chettinad Hospital, Meenakshi Ammal Dental College, Lifeline Hospital, Vijaya Hospital and Rural Hospitals in Tamilnadu were recipients of the awards.
Apart from this, a lifetime achievement award was presented to Diabetologist Padmashree Dr Seshiah.
The event was conducted keeping all the safety measures in mind and turned out to be a gala affair with the esteemed presence of distinguished guests, senior members from Medical & Government entities.
