Chennai , January 21, 2026: Arun Ice Creams, India’s most popular and loved ice cream brand , has achieved the feat as part of its ‘ Longest Line ‘ event , where over 4,000 children in Chennai city enjoyed tasting various products from Arun Ice Creams. The Guinness World Record was set for this event .

The children enjoyed Arun Ice Cream’s butterscotch chocolate flavoured Jolly Train, made with pure milk and cream . This was a unique achievement. The children achieved this feat by consuming ice cream continuously for one minute. During the effort , participants formed a human chain and handed ice cream to the person on their right, holding hands , creating a continuous , interconnected chain.

The previous record was set 15 years ago in Canada with around 2,500 students. The Guinness World Record was officially recognised by Mr. Richard William Stenning from the UK Guinness team and Mr. Milind Verlekar from the Pune Guinness team. The honour was conferred on Mr. S. Sathyan , Vice President, Hudson Agro Products, in the presence of participating schools including Narayana Group of Schools , Nellai School , Ramachandra School , Sudha Nanda Vidyalaya , Buddhi Manam , SV School , Wells Global and Padma Seshadri Bala Bhavan Senior Secondary School .
