
Chennai, 28th January, 2026: On the auspicious occasion of the 77th Republic Day, the Beawar Association organized a grand and dignified event at the Lady Andal Concert Hall in Chetpet was held recently. On this occasion, the Medical Relief Fund, established for social welfare purposes under the Beawar Association Trust, was inaugurated with great pomp.
Mr. Ajay Nahar, Medical Chairman of the Trust, explained that although this project was initiated on the occasion of the birth centenary of the founding president of the organization, Mr. Bhanwarlal Gothi, it was formally and comprehensively launched on the auspicious occasion of Republic Day.
The event began with a welcome address by Trust President Mr. Ajit Gothi. Expressing gratitude to all the donors, he said that such service projects are possible only with the trust and support of the community. Trust Secretary Mr. Rajesh Bohra informed that to mark this special occasion, a patriotic cultural and entertainment program, “Mera Bharat Mahan,” was organized, showcasing a vibrant display of Indian culture, unity, and national pride.
During the program, Award Chairman Mr. M.G. Bohra announced the Beawar Association’s highest honor, the “Beawar Ratna Award.” This honor was presented to Mr. Subhashchandsa Ranka, Mr. Rikhabhchandsa Bohra for social service and outstanding contributions. The awards were presented by special guests Mr. Ramesh G. Mutha and Mr. M.K. Jain, who commended the honorees for their social contributions.
In their addresses, the guests stated that the Beawar Association Trust has been continuously working in the fields of social service, cultural values, and humanitarian aid. They stated that this event is a proud symbol of the organization’s 35-year journey of service.
Medical Chairman Mr. Ajay Nahar, while explaining the concept of the Medical Relief Fund, stated that the Trust is committed to providing prompt and transparent assistance to the medical needs of relatives residing from Chennai to Chengalpattu. An online payment method has been established to ensure prompt disbursement of the aid. He also stated that the Trust provides scholarships worth over 25 lakh rupees to students annually, and now the Trust will also play an active role in the field of medical assistance.
On this occasion, Silver, Gold, and Diamond category donors of the Trust were honored with shawls and mementos. Dance Smith artists from Delhi enthralled the audience with their captivating patriotic performance. Vice President Mr. Prakash Bohra provided information about the well-organized schedule of the program and the excellent arrangements for dinner and refreshments.
Participating from Jaipur were Mrs. Shakuntala Golchha, former President Mr. Pukhraj Gulecha, Mr. Phoolchand Nahar, Mr. Prem Bokadian, and Mr. Shantilal C.R. Jain, Mr. Rajkumar Kothari and many other dignitaries were present.
