Narayan Seva Sansthan to Organize Artificial Limb Measurement Camp for Differently-Abled Persons on May 24

With the objective of empowering differently-abled individuals through modern technology and helping them lead a confident and self-reliant life, National Award-winning social organization Narayan Seva Sansthan will organize a Free Corrective Surgery Screening, Selection, and Measurement Camp for Japanese-German technology-based 3D Printed Narayan Modular Artificial Limbs on Sunday, May 24, in Coimbatore.

A press conference regarding the camp was held at Rajasthani Hall, R.S. Puram, Coimbatore.

Addressing the media, Camp Coordinator Achal Singh Bhati and social worker Santosh Mundra stated that this is the second consecutive time the camp is being organized in Coimbatore. During the previous camp, more than 650 differently-abled individuals benefited through artificial limbs, medical assistance, and rehabilitation services. Following the overwhelming response received earlier, this year’s camp is being conducted with even more advanced technological facilities.

They informed that the camp will be held on Sunday, May 24, at Maheshwari Bhavan premises, KNG Pudur Pirivu, Somayampalayam, Thadagam Main Road, Coimbatore. Registration and medical examinations will take place from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM.

The camp is being organized with the support of Matrushree Shantaben Tribhuvandas Patel Charitable Trust (T.M. Patel Family), Surat, Gujarat.

Achal Singh Bhati said, “This camp is not limited to providing artificial limbs alone, but is an effort to bring lasting transformation in the lives of differently-abled individuals through modern rehabilitation technology.”

He further explained that digital measurements will be taken for lightweight, flexible, and body-structure-friendly 3D Printed Narayan Modular Artificial Limbs developed using Japanese and German technology. Compared to conventional artificial limbs, these are more comfortable and durable, helping beneficiaries return to normal life with greater ease.

An experienced team of Orthotists and Prosthetists from the institution will conduct individual assessments and take precise measurements according to each beneficiary’s body structure. Approximately two months after the measurement process, beneficiaries will receive personalized artificial limbs free of cost.

In addition, individuals requiring corrective surgeries will be selected for free treatment at the institution’s modern hospital in Udaipur.

Social activist Santosh Mundra stated that the camp aims to ensure that the maximum number of differently-abled individuals from Coimbatore and surrounding regions benefit from these advanced rehabilitation services. He also mentioned that free food, tea, and refreshments will be provided to the participants and their family members attending the camp.

On this occasion, T.M. Patel International School Chairman Harishbhai Patel said, “Empowering differently-abled individuals through education, healthcare, and humanity is the responsibility of society.” He added that the T.M. Patel family has been continuously working with Narayan Seva Sansthan to bring advanced rehabilitation technology to the last person in society.

During the event, organizers Achal Singh Bhati, social activists Santosh Mundra, Jitendra Pugalia, Kamal Kishore Agrawal, and Rajesh Agrawal released the official poster of the camp.
