“Anweshippin Kandethum” is a movie that adheres to the thriller genre.

Movies in the investigative genre are particularly liked by me, hence there is an attempt to go to the theatre on the first day itself to watch them. However, as some days pass, the experience often turns out to be just average, with some expectations dashed. Therefore, to experience only moments of thrill, I choose to watch “Anweshippin Kandethum” a bit later.

Now I feel it was a mistake of prejudiced mind. Because “Anweshippin Kandethum” is an excellent movie and literally it is a must watch movie. The movie have two climaxes and two segments. These segments are different investigations of two different cases in deferent periods.

The Director Darwin Kuriakose and Script Writer Jinu V Abraham framed the movie with some unexpected twists and it makes the movie a thrilling experience. Tovino Thomas shines in his protagonist role as SI Anand Narayanan. Anand Narayanan is an ordinary policeman, and the movie depicts the two cases he investigated in different periods. Along with Tovino, Vinit Thattil as Senan, Pramod Veliyanadu as Suku, and Rahul Rajagopal as Kabir have transformed themselves with their costumes.

The role of Mathachan, the father of the deceased character Lovely, portrayed by Vettukili Prakashan, deserves special mention for its emotional depth which capturing the audience attention. Besides them, the performances of Madhupal, Baburaj, Siddique, Indrans, Shammi Thilakan, Sreejith Ravi, Balaji Sharma, Prem Prakash, Nandu, Arthana Binu, Ashwathi Manoharan, Ramya Subramanian, and others were exceptional, making this film a must-watch for thriller enthusiasts.

Gautham Shankar’s cinematography, Santosh Narayanan’s music, background score, Dilip Nath’s art, and Saju Sreedhar’s editing all contribute to the overall mood of the film. Dolvin Kuriakose, Jinu V. Abraham, Vikram Mehra, and Siddharth Anand Kumar produced the movie under the banner of Theater of Dreams. This is the first movie after the grand success of Prithviraj’s ‘Kappa’ produced by Theater of Dreams.
