Chennai, Sep 26: Anna Nagar Assembly Member V.K. Ramkumar inaugurated a new showroom of ‘Zecode’ readymade garments in Anna Nagar, Chennai, on Saturday.
Zecode is an exclusive readymade garments retail chain owned and operated by Siyaram’s, one of India’s leading textile conglomerates. Expanding its footprint with its second outlet in Chennai, the new showroom spans approximately 8,000 square feet and is located in the Kumaran Nagar 3rd Avenue area of Anna Nagar East. The grand inauguration ceremony took place on Saturday.
Speaking about the launch, Gaurav Poddar, Managing Director of Siyaram Silk Mills, said, “Siyaram’s has been deeply rooted in the textile industry for over 50 years. Drawing upon our rich experience, we introduced the ‘Zecode’ brand to cater to modern retail trends and have been continuously expanding our store network. To appeal to the younger generation, over 3,000 contemporary designs have been specially crafted and made available for purchase. Our brands currently boast a loyal base of over 3 million customers, and we are aggressively expanding our footprint across key youth fashion markets in India.”
He further noted that the brand has already established a strong presence with 31 showrooms in Bengaluru, 3 in Hyderabad, and 1 existing showroom in Chennai. The newly launched Anna Nagar outlet marks the brand’s 36th exclusive showroom.

The inauguration ceremony was attended by the company’s Chief Executive Officer Jayakar Jettikar, alongside senior executives Pankaj Singh, S. Chandrappa, and other key officials.
