Numeros Motors Puts Indian Women Athletes in the Spotlight with Vibe Movers Campaign
Olympic fencer Bhavani Devi, national table tennis champion Yashaswini Ghorpade and national futsal player Mithila Ramani feature in the first set of stories as part of a series on athletes.
Chennai, 04 November 2026: Numeros Motors is celebrating the achievements of Indian women athletes through Vibe Movers, a series of stories that puts the spotlight on athletes whose journeys deserve greater recognition. Vibe Movers features Olympic fencer Bhavani Devi, national table tennis champion Yashaswini Ghorpade, and national futsal player Mithila Ramani. The series plans to cover more athletes through their journey. As part of this initiative, Numeros also gifted each athlete an n-First vehicle as a small token of appreciation for their talent and grit.
Vibe Movers goes beyond medals and accolades to explore the stories behind sporting success: the rigorous training, injuries, and setbacks that shape an athlete’s journey. The series reflects the similar ethos behind Numeros’ Crossover Utility Vehicles (CUVs), two-wheelers that combine the toughness and strength of conventional vehicles with the running economics of electric vehicles.
“At Numeros, our CUVs are engineered to be strong and dependable partners, embodying the resilience and strength needed to navigate the many facets of our customers’ everyday journeys. The champion athletes featured in Vibe Movers embody the same spirit, inspiring us with their grit, hard work, and perseverance to overcome challenges and emerge as winners,” said Arun Srivastava, Chief Executive Officer, Numeros Motors.
Each of the three athletes has made a crossover of their own and charted their distinctive path of success. Mithila moved from engineering to sports, and from football to futsal. Yashaswini progressed from being a junior champion to a senior national champion. Bhavani reached the Olympics in a sport India had never qualified in.
Mithila Ramani was on track to study engineering before she committed to becoming a professional football and futsal player. In January 2026, she scored the first goal of India’s first-ever women’s futsal international, an 11–1 win over Maldives. India went on to win silver at the first SAFF Women’s Futsal Championship.
“It took me more than ten years to go from local turfs to representing India,” said Mithila. “The road had its share of twists, losses and wins, including a fractured leg, before a debut goal and a silver at the first SAFF Women’s Futsal Championship. Numeros Crossover
Utility Vehicles celebrate the resilience and grit it takes to become a professional athlete, and the Vibe Movers campaign makes room for those of us who took the tough road. The n-First CUV is built for the road ahead. I am proud to be part of the Vibe Movers series.”
Bhavani Devi is India’s first Olympic fencer. She qualified for the Tokyo 2020 Games. In 2023, she won bronze at the Asian Fencing Championships, India’s first medal at the event. She has also won gold at the Commonwealth Fencing Championships. She received the Arjuna Award in 2021.
Yashaswini Ghorpade is the reigning national women’s table tennis champion. She won her first senior national title in Indore in March 2026 and represents India on the World Table Tennis circuit.
“Progress is built on showing up every day, training consistently and never giving up, even on the days you’re down,” said Yashaswini. “That’s how I became a national champion in India. It’s also why Numeros Motors feels like a true partner in progress. Their crossover utility vehicles stand for the same unbreakable utility that I try to bring to my approach to the game. Vibe Movers gives women athletes the recognition we’ve earned, and I’m grateful to be part of it.”
