Government of Gujarat Delegation to Hold Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit 2027 Roadshow in Chennai on October 21st and 22nd October

Delegation led by Hon’ble Minister Dr. Manisha Vakil to engage Chennai’s industry leaders on investment opportunities in Gujarat.

Chennai, October 20, 2026: The Government of Gujarat will organise a high-level roadshow in Chennai on 21st and 22nd October, 2026, ahead of the Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit (VGGS) 2027, scheduled to be held from January 10–12, 2027, at Mahatma Mandir, Gandhinagar.

The delegation will be led by Dr. Manisha Vakil, Hon’ble Minister for Women and Child Welfare, Government of Gujarat and Shri. M. Thennarasan, IAS, Principal Secretary, Urban Development and Urban Housing, is the Nodal Officer for the roadshow.

The main roadshow event will be held on Thursday, October 22, 2026, from 12:00 pm to 1:15 pm at Taj Coromandel, Chennai. The session will feature a presentation on VGGS 2027 by Shri. M. Thennarasan, IAS; a screening of the Summit film; experience sharing by prominent industry and association leaders and an address by Dr. Manisha Vakil.

On Day 1, October 21st, the delegation will conduct industrial visits and organise a roundtable on Investment Opportunities in Automobile sector and Startup Ecosystem in Gujarat.

On Day 2, October 22, the delegation will also hold one-to-one meetings with leading industrialists and business leaders from Chennai and interact with members of the Tamil Nadu Marwari Sammelan, Chennai.
