Chennai , 31.01.2024 – The Indian Hockey South Zone meeting convened at Kings Hotel Chennal , was spearheaded by the esteemed Olympian and World Cup Gold Medalist , Aslam Sher Khan . In response to the recent Delhi High Court verdict that led to the suspension of Hockey India and the formation of a Committee of Administration , concerns arose over the re – emergence of individuals previously expelled by the court . Aslam Sher Khan , a prominent figure in Indian Hockey , expressed dissatisfaction with the lack of transparent and honest actions by the committee .
The newly established Indian Hockey organization aims to eradicate malpractices within the sport and stand against any form of hooliganism that tarnishes its spirit . With a commitment to fostering a better hockey family in the future , the organization plans to initiate comprehensive reforms at the state level .

To address these concerns and initiate widespread reform , Indian Hockey has announced an All India Meeting scheduled to take place in Mumbai on March 2024.
