WorkEZ BETS BIG ON MANAGED OFFICE MARKET IN CHENNAI: SIGNS ON. 1.9 LAKH SQUARE FEET IN PALLAVARAM, GUINDY and anna salai

Chennai, 7 September 2022 – Chennai-headquartered managed office and coworking space provider, Work Easy Space Solutions Private Limited (WorkEZ) has announced the signing of three new buildings in Chennai. The new centres will be known as ‘WorkEZ The Address’, ‘WorkEZ Chambers Guindy’ and ‘WorkEZ Clubhouse Anna Salai’. The upcoming centres are located across three key micro-markets of the city: the 200 feet Radial Road in Pallavaram, in Guindy and on Clubhouse Road, off Anna Salai, respectively.

The three new centres have a total capacity of nearly 4000 seats spanning across 1.9 lakh square feet. With this latest addition to its portfolio, WorkEZ now has a total capacity of over 12,000 seats spanning over 6 lakh square feet, across its seven centres in Chennai, making it the city’s largest managed office space provider.

Mr Sunil Reddy, Co-founder and Managing Director of WorkEZ said: “We set up WorkEZ three years ago with a vision to be India’s largest managed office space provider, offering our clients best-in-class comfort, world-class amenities, state-of-the-art infrastructure and round-the-clock support. Over the last two years, the company has gained great momentum. In terms of office space and number of seats, we currently hold the largest market share among the coworking and managed office space providers in Chennai and are optimistic about expanding to other tier-1 and tier-2 cities in India. Our target is to grow to 100 significant centres by 2027”.

Mr Prathap Murali, WorkEZ’s Head of Business for India, said: “The popularity of coworking and managed office spaces has catapulted in the post-COVID era. According to a recent report by a leading International Property Consultant, coworking space providers across top 7 cities in India leased 28 lakh square feet in Q2 2022, the highest in 12 quarters. Likewise, the office market in Chennai is witnessing improving occupier momentum, with demand driven by IT, ITes and BFSI firms. The uptake in the first half of 2022 is similar to the numbers recorded in 2019 and we believe this city has great potential.”

“The average office-goer spends about 8 to 10 hours a day at office, and at WorkEZ we strive to give them both a great office environment as well as a great work experience. A lot of R&D goes into every aspect of our business – from product specifications like office layout and design, furnishings, fittings, IT framework etc. to the elaborate set of services we offer, in order to create and deliver a world-class work experience”, Mr Murali added.
