Chennai, March 10, 2023: DCCDL, the Rental arm of India’s largest real estate company DLF today announces the completion of 15 years of its business operations in Chennai, it’s the second-largest market after Delhi NCR. DLF Cybercity Chennai, a 43 Acre, 7.2 Mn Sq. Ft project has contributed a cumulative export revenue of more than INR 98,000 crores since its inception and has generated employment for over 1,00,000 workforce of Chennai’s growing IT industry. Today, it is Chennai’s one of the most sustainable business districts and is a LEED Platinum and a LEED Zero Water-certified campus.
To commemorate its 15th anniversary, DLF today unveiled ‘The Hub’ – a recreational and social venue, custom curated for the millennial generation in the heart of DLF Cybercity and introduced a new futuristic 5,00,000 Sq. Ft office building – 12 B.
DLF also shared that Phase 1 of its second commercial project DLF Downtown at Taramani is now in the advanced stages of completion. Spread over 27 Acres, the project was launched in January 2020 with DCCDL investing Rs.5,000 crores in the project. Once completed, the total DLF Rental portfolio in the Chennai market will be more than 14 Mn Sq. Ft of global quality workspaces.
