Arun Excello’s eleventh annual concerts series, ‘Navaratri Nada Vaibhavam,’ featured popular artists like Carnatic Playback singers Nithyashree, Mahathi and Indian Violinist Sabareesh Prabhaker was a display of classicism and melody imbued at the right measure highlighting the splendour of the ragas.
Carnatic music series was a part of Arun Excello’s CSR to promote Art & Culture. The event was held at Ziva – Active Retirement Community, Mahabalipuram from 7th to 15th October 2021. This year they gave platform to young & emerging artists along with eminent Carnatic musicians, celebrating Devi in various music forms (Carnatic and other multi-genre ) of Indian music.
The idea of conducting Navarathri Naada Vaibhavam is that as per our tradition during Navarathri 9 days festival in every house, the invitees are requested to render a song in the praise of God and Goddesses. Keeping the tradition our company has been doing this for the benefit of all the Rasikas especially during Navarathri as all the music festivals happen during Margazhi. This year program has a good blend of performances by experienced artists and young artists.
The concert presented eminent artists like Nithyashree (Vocal), Sikkul Gurucharan (Vocal), Mahathi (Vocal), Gayathri Girish (Vocal), Bharat Sundar (Vocal), Dr. R.Ganesh (Vocal), Ramakrishnan Murthy (Vocal), Shanthi Suresh (Vocal), Palghat Dr.R.Ramprasad (Vocal). The 9 days event did not have a single dull moment and left the music lovers asking for more. Violinist Sabareesh Prabhaker exhibited extraordinary control over the strings and created some electrifying moments during his performance.
