Crowne Plaza Chennai Adayar Park hosted the year end Thanksgiving Evening for the diplomats from various consulates in Chennai, a relaxed fun evening over great cocktails & a sumptuous dinner. Consuls & diplomats from United States, United Kingdom, Australia, France, Germany, Japan, Korea, Russia, and Singapore attended the dinner followed by a fashion show presented by the diplomats themselves featuring Desi ethnics & their respective traditional wear celebrating all cultures.

Mr. Oleg. N. Avdeev, Consul General Russia, Mr. Oliver Ballhatchet, Deputy High Commissioner, United Kingdom were some of the esteemed presence at the thanksgiving dinner. Ileana ( Helen) Russia won the 1st place followed by Tatiyana (Tanya) Russia & Kana – Japan at runner’s up. Hagii from Japan won the men’s category at the special fashion show held as part of the thanksgiving evening.
